Anyone who knows me knows that I love a good process. A good story if you will. If this little video highlight from my Instagram doesn’t show you how my podcast came to life I don’t know what will.

So I don't hire people based on their experience or their skill set. I hire people on the potential of their skill set, and I hire people on culture, because I know that if you're a good human and you live by our core values.

I have big dreams and when I want to do something I tend to move fast. Back in 2014 I had this idea and I want to share it with you. At the time I didn’t have money saved. The idea of working on a project for free ended up just not being in the cards at that time. But it didn’t stop me from trying when I could.

Honestly, I get worked up anytime I get asked to do something publicly. I immediately want to say no, run and hide. I have learned to say yes to the right things.

I FINALLY came out when I was 24. Growing up I was shy, awkward, anxious and so far in the closet I didn’t even know I was in a closet (serious Narnia vibes). I was also raise in a very strict, religious environment. Things started to change when I picked up and moved away in 2010.

Don’t tiptoe around promoting that you’re inclusive and outwardly supportive of the LGBTQ+ community. If you lose clients because of it those are not clients that you want to work with. Stand your ground and be an ally.
